MeshCAM - 3D CAM Made Easy - FREE 60 Day Trial

MeshCAM is an easy to use 3D CAM program from GRZ Software LLC. It will import STL and 3D DXF files from your CAD software (like Alibre Design) and generate G-code files in a few simple steps.

MeshCAM will also generate 3D objects for machining from image files such as JPEG, GIF, BMP and TIFF.

Mach3 - CNC for Windows - FREE Demo

This is a special Sherline Edition of the Mach3 CNC Control program for Windows 2000 or Windows XP from ArtSoft Software, Inc. This version is pre-configured for all Sherline Mills and Lathes using the P/N 8760 Stepper Motor Driver. Includes support for closed-loop spindle speed controller.

This is a free demo limited to 1000 lines of G-code. This version is a free upgrade for existing owners of Mach2 or Mach3 licenses.

The following are files to help facilitate using Sherline hardware with various CNC Control programs. The files are provided for convenience only, please use at your own risk.

Mach3 Profiles

These profiles are for use with pre-existing installations of Mach3 and the P/N 8760 Stepper Driver. This file is not necessary if you installed the Sherline Edition of Mach3 above.

Mach2 Profiles

These profiles are for use with the older Mach2 CNC Control software and the P/N 8760 Stepper Driver. Due to improvements in the pulsing engine, we recommend the Sherline Edition of Mach3 (above) over Mach2 for more reliable operation.

TurboCNC V4

This is a setup file for using the P/N 8760 Stepper Motor Driver with V4.X of TurboCNC. Copy the .ini file to your TurboCNC folder to use. TurboCNC is available from DAK Engineering.
